Eating Out
Close to home we are spoilt for choice, as both pubs in Georgeham village are wonderful for different reasons. We would highly recommend pre-booking in advance of your stay to avoid disappointment, as they are very popular and get booked up.
The Rock Inn
For a great gastro experience we can recommend The Rock Inn, a centuries-old Devon pub with a great atmosphere. Families are welcome. The conservatory at the back of the pub offers a lovely bright feel to your dining experience. It has a charming owner and front-of-house team so you are guaranteed great service. To book a table (recommended) call 01271 890322 or just pop in.

Newcoast Kitchen
This lovely restaurant in Croyde owned by our friends Matt and Nicole is a must visit. We love their food, their personal service, their style and the way everything is so thoughtfully prepared. You are in for a treat here but make sure you book as there are limited tables and it is super popular.

The Porthole Café
This fabulous café is situated between Putsborough and Woolacobe just up above the beach on the footpath. It’s a great stop if you walk from Pickwell down the footpath to the Porthole then double back in a loop via Putsborough. They serve delicious lunches, cakes, drinks and local ice cream. Just below the café there is a clearing of logs on the National Trust land to take your drink and admire the view.

Something Special
NC noel corston (Woolacombe)
A trail-blazing, multi-award-winning restaurant based in Woolacombe. The chef/owner Noel, is a dad at the school with us, and his gorgeous wife Nora provides fantastic table service. They offer one fixed tasting menu which is built around the seasons, reflecting our immediate North Devon environment at any given moment in time.
This one needs to go in the 'treat' night of your holiday as it is definitely one for the grown-ups, a truly one-off personal and unique experience. But we can help with babysitters!
Guests dine at the Chef's Counter which accommodates 8 and there is only one sitting per evening so be sure to book well in advance.
